The Wayne County Friend of the Court Bench Warrant Amnesty Program Continues. Amnesty continues for child support bench warrants.

From April 10-13 and April 17-21, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., parties can come to the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center, Room 1907, to make an Amnesty payment and talk to someone about their warrants.

There is no threat of arrest: The goal is to collect payments and to get payers on the right track.

The required payment is $500 per child support warrant. The warrant will be removed and no court costs or other fees will be assessed.

This program is being conducted in an arrest-free zone.

This is a perfect opportunity for parents who have a warrant and owe child support to make a new start. Parents can learn about the State Discharge of Arrears program, how to change their child support amount, and more.

Contact the Friend of the Court Call Center at 1-877-543-2660 for more information.
