Group Launches to Fight for Fair Auto Insurance Reforms, Lower Rates in Detroit

WHAT:  News conference held by Detroit leaders to announce the formation of the Detroit Alliance to Fight for Fair Auto Insurance, which will vocalize the need for fair and balanced reforms to Michigan’s auto no-fault system that lower costs and protect Detroit drivers.

WHY:   Detroiters are paying far too much in auto insurance premiums, in some cases up to $5,000 per year. This amount far exceeds everywhere else in the state and the country. This issue needs to be addressed and not at the expense of auto accident survivors.
