According to reports, combo guard Eron Gordon from Indianapolis is scheduled to visit Michigan on Friday. While point guard Devearl Ramsey from California is scheduled visit Ann Arbor for an unofficial visit over the weekend.

Now, I know Michigan has already extended offers to Cassius Winston, Derryck Thornton, Tyus Battle, TJ Leaf, Quentin Goodin, Seth Towns and Jon Teske who are in the class of 2016, but there is no doubt in my mind that Michigan would still like to offer both Gordon and Ramsey.

When you talk about Gordon, you’re talking about the younger brother of professional NBA basketball player and New Orleans Pelican guard Eric Gordon. Just like his big brother was in high school, Gordon has quickly become the next highly regarded college prospect.

Gordon reportedly averaged 14 points, four rebounds and two assists last season at North Central and he is third among all scorers this spring on the Adidas Gauntlet travel circuit (23.4 ppg), while playing for the Eric Gordon All-Stars, which bears his oldest brother’s name.

Although, he hasn’t even started his junior year yet, Gordon is already being recruiting heavily by major colleges, including recent interest from Kentucky, Duke and Louisville, where he visited last Friday. If that isn’t enough, Gordon also holds offers from Arizona State, Nebraska, Purdue and Indiana, who actually offered him back when he was in eighth grade.

At 6-foot-2, Gordon moves extremely well with the ball. He can shoot consistently from three-point range but he also has no problem getting past defenders on his way to the rim. Overall, Gordon is a tough-minded combo guard who competes at both ends of the floor. Most importantly, he has that play-hard-all-the-time mentality, which is something every college coach can appreciate.

The same goes for 2016 point guard Devearl Ramsey, who will be visiting Ann Arbor this week for an unofficial visit. When it comes to Ramsey the name of the game is energy. At 5-foot-11, Ramsey is what I consider to be a high energy point guard with plenty of athleticism and strong defensive abilities.

Offensively, he has quick handles and an even quicker first step. Although he is known for being a great scorer, he does have a nose for scoring plus you can always count on him to be a great facilitator due to his good vision and overall feel for the game. Defensively, he has a great motor that never goes out, you can always count on him to play solid disciplined defense and move his feet. However at the same time, he isn’t afraid to be that guy who rolls on the floor for a loose ball.

It’s because of those qualities, that Ramsey already hold offers from Arizona State, California, Tulsa, USC and Washington.

If all goes well at Ann Arbor during his un-official visit this weekend, he could very well be adding an offer from Michigan to his already impressive offer list. The same goes for Gordon. So for now, I guess we will have to wait and see.
