“We Can Make This Happen”

151328771What: “Joshua Walk” to lift up the candidacy of Benny Napoleon for Mayor of Detroit.Women from across the city of Detroit will walk seven times around the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center beginning at the Spirit of Detroit statute.  The “Joshua Walk” is an opportunity for women to demonstrate their support for “Benny Napoleon for Mayor” and for the future of the city of Detroit.  The “Joshua Walk” is conducted in silence.

Who: 1000 Women For Benny led by Reverend Dr. Deedee M. Coleman, Pastor of the Russell Street Missionary Baptist Church, 2nd Vice President of the Council of Baptist Pastors of Detroit and Vicinity and Reverend Dr. Yvette Griffin, Co-Pastor of the Pilgrim Baptist Church, member of the Council of Baptist Pastors of Detroit and Vicinity.

Why: Benny Napoleon is the candidate for Mayor that will make a difference for women and children in Detroit.  He is concerned about the issues that impact women, vulnerable children and families.  We need his leadership to make a difference in Detroit.
Who Should Attend:  Women!
