Two Detroit teens have been ordered to stand trial for the shooting death of a 21-year-old Chesterfield Township man in a vacant house in Detroit.

Ihab Maslamani and Robert Taylor, both 17, are to be arraigned in Macomb County Circuit Court on Monday for the murder of Matt Landry, who was beaten and carjacked Aug. 9 from the parking lot of a Quiznos sandwich shop in Eastpointe.

His body was found four days later inside of a burned out, vacant drug house on Detroit’s east side. He had been shot once in the back of the head.

38th District Court Judge Carl Gerds III ordered Maslamani to stand trial on seven felony counts, including murder, kidnapping, carjacking, felony firearm, larceny and conspiracy counts to commit kidnapping and carjacking.

Taylor, who police say was the lookout, faces six of those seven counts. He dismissed the larceny charge against Taylor.

The felony firearm charges were added today.

Taylor, who turned 17 in October, is to be transferred from Wayne County juvenile detention center to the Macomb County Jail, where both suspects are being held with no bond.
