We are repulsed by the coldness and callousness that we observe in the 911 operator while at the same time ignoring the mirror reflecting back into ourselves. It is similar to listening to one's child say an obscenity. The first response is shock. The second response is outrage. The third response is punishment. Many of us never allow the response I would like to label 1.5 (somewhere between the first and second response) to surface. It is that inner voice -- that mirror image -- that god consciousness saying, "Your child is only reflecting you!" How did we participate in creating this world? We create it everytime we refuse to reflect on ourselves. The blame game has begun to boomerang. Watch out for yours! This situation is symptomatic of a world we have ALL participated in creating.
