I wonder if Oscar Fuller wishes he could rewind his steps last week in New York City.

DETROIT – Two women and a bus driver mix it up while a passenger records the entire incident. The fight started after one woman missed the bus. When she finally boarded, she wasn’t happy. Police are watching the video deciding who to charge with what.

Tuesday afternoon was anything but dull for one DDOT passenger. It all started at a bus stop on Eight Mile and Lasher on the city’s west side when one bold woman tried to make her way on-board the bus.

“She knocked on the door. Bus driver opened up the door,” the aforementioned passenger said.

According to him, she was heated, mad and furious, and she had more than a few foul words for the bus driver. That’s when he grabbed his camera and pushed record.

Detroit Police spokesman John Roach says both women were arrested in connection with the fight.

Detroit Police arrested a shotgun-toting 17-year-old who they believe was headed back to Mumford High School Monday after a fistfight.

The boy had a fresh black eye, a 12-gauge shotgun and six live shells in his pocket when he was arrested around 2 p.m. Monday in a car that had been headed to the school, 17525 Wyoming Street, just north of McNichols, according to Detroit Police.

“While we can’t know what his intent was, it doesn’t take a lot of imagination to see the tragic turn this highly-charged situation could have taken,” Detroit Police Chief Warren Evans said in a statement released today. “That type of scenario likely was avoided thanks to some great work by those officers.”

Calls to 911 reported a large fight near Mumford High School, followed by calls about shots fired nearby, Detroit Police spokesman John Roach said. Responding officers noticed the car carrying the teen heading toward the school, then suddenly veering and speeding off when police arrived.

Police pulled over the car at Curtis and Wisconsin, about three blocks east of the school, Roach said.

Two other teens in the car were released, Roach said. The 17-year-old is expected to be charged with carrying an illegal weapon in a vehicle.

Australian Danny Green stopped Roy Jones Jr. in the first round of their IBO world cruiserweight title fight Wednesday, preventing the 40-year-old American from claiming his ninth title across five weight classes from middleweight to heavyweight.

The 36-year-old Green retained his title and improved to 28-3 with his technical knockout over Jones at the Acer Arena, in the American’s first professional fight on foreign soil in his 20-year career.

It was only Jones’ sixth loss since 1989, along with 54 wins, 40 by knockout.

Green floored Jones with a right hand to the head after one minute. Green moved in to apply more pressure, and following a series of blows, English referee Howard Foster stopped the bout after just 122 seconds.

Jones offered no excuses for a defeat which could signal the end of his career.

“We don’t make excuses, it was a great performance by Danny,” Jones said.

Green was almost apologetic for handing such a defeat to one of his boxing role models.

“He’s one of the greatest fighters of all time and the opportunity to fight him in Australia, thanks, Roy Jones Jr.,” Green told the crowd.

UPDATE:

ATLANTIC CITY – The 40/40 Club has provided additional footage of an incident that resulted in two patrons apparently being beaten by security, police confirmed Tuesday.

A video shot by DJ Zeke outside the club and posted on YouTube tells only part of the story, according to complaints signed by three employees.

Tape from the club’s security cameras inside the building was brought to police when manager Carlos Lopez and security guards David Gulley and Ivan Ramos signed complaints against two men from Neptune, Monmouth County, later shown being kicked and punched by about a dozen men outside the club.

The club’s tape shows Tyrell Durant and Leonard Clark scuffling with security inside then being escorted out down a stairway, according to police who have seen the tape.

Durant, 26, denied wrongdoing in an interview with the Associated Press on Monday.

No one at the 40/40 Club would comment on the tape, which has become an online sensation.

DJ Zeke, whose real name is Ezekiel Akinyemi, according to his Twitter account, first posted the video at about 1 a.m. Sunday, according to a link from his Facebook page.

At least one of the attackers in the video is wearing a “Security” shirt. He runs over to the group that has Durant surrounded near a car, pulls a couple of men out of the way and then punches Durant in the left side of his head.

Police are still trying to identify the men in the video, Sgt. Monica McMenamin said Tuesday.

Check out footage captured by DJ Keke below:

Bouncers from Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in Atlantic City are currently being placed under investigation for their role in a physical fight which happened outside the venue over the weekend.

Details on the incident began to circulate Tuesday (December 1) morning.

Despite pleas to “cool out” and “don’t hit him”, approximately 12 employees of Jay-Z’s 40/40 club in Atlantic City mercilessly beat two men in a parking lot scuffle. In the video, workers can be seen kicking one man repeatedly after he was beaten to the ground, persuaded to stop by a management level employee wearing a suit and tie. Most of the assailants were wearing military style black uniforms which were identified as “security” and “event staff”. (NJ Jackson News)

Additional reports claim the 40/40 Club workers acted in self-defense.

The brawl began when the two Neptune, Monmouth County, men — Tyrell Durant and Leonard Clark — started causing trouble inside the nightclub co-owned by well-known rapper Jay-Z, according to complaints the club manager and a security guard signed against the two. Security guard David Gulley, of Brooklyn, N.Y., told police Durant, 26, struck him in the face. Manager Carlos Lopez, of Hoboken, Hudson County, also said Durant ripped his collar during the struggle. In a separate complaint, security guard Ivan Ramos, of Ocean City, charges Clark, 25, punched him. (Press Of Atlantic City)

Clark, on the other hand, gave his account of the encounter.

“We came down to Atlantic City to have a good time, not to have the crap beat out of us,” Durant told The Associated Press on Monday. “We did not do anything to deserve this.” Durant and his friend, Leonard Clark, have been charged with disorderly conduct.Durant said he and Clark, 25, also of Neptune, were at 40/40 to celebrate Clark’s birthday. Clark was at the bar, having just ordered a $15 plate of chicken, when a bouncer who had just ejected someone else from the club told him to move, Durant said. (Associated Press)

The club workers are reportedly staying mum on the topic.

A rep for the club tells TMZ: “We can’t comment on the fight. We are doing our own investigation in addition to the police investigation. It’s really in the hands of the police at this point. The 40/40 club has never had anything like this happen before and we take the safety of our patrons seriously.” (TMZ)

No further details have been released as of now.

Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao for winning the WBO Welterweight Championship belt. He defeated Miguel Cotto via TKO on Round 12. Pacquiao said in an interview that he’s planning to knock him out on Round 12. He also expected that the fight will be stopped on Round 11, because Miguel Cotto was so tired and looks too pathetic in the 11th round.

Here are some excerpts of the Manny Pacquiao post-fight interview courtesy of Sports Live Blogger:
“Our plan and strategy for the fight is not to hurry. You know, take time. I’m trying to test his power. In the early round I’m trying to get his in the body and in the head. I’m looking for a knock out shot that’s why I didn’t throw a lot of punches. You know, in the last minute I gave a few punches. That’s why I heard. I heard that he was bigger than me and was stronger than me. I tried my best to knock him out in the last round. I thought in the 11th round that they will stop the fight.” – Manny Pacquiao

When asked of who will he fight next:
My job is to fight in the ring. I think it’s my promoter’s decision of who will I fight next. I want to spend time with my family as of now and I want to spend a vacation. It’s a hard fight tonight, you know.

What do you think is going on in Manila and in the Philippines?
I think my Filipino fans are screaming today and they are very happy of my victory today. I want to thank you the Filipinos who came here today, specially the first gentleman and the Vice President. Thank you. Thank you to all!

Congratulations Manny Pacquiao! You made all the Filipinos proud!
