COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was killed and two others were injured Tuesday morning in a shooting at a maintenance building on the Ohio State University campus, 10TV News reported.
None of the victims were believed to have been students, police said.
The shooting occurred inside the McCracken Power Plant building, located on West 17th Avenue near Ohio Stadium.
According to police, the shooting left one person dead and two others injured. One of the victims was taken to a hospital in critical condition, while the other was in stable condition, police said.
No other details were immediately released by police.
A text message was sent to students at about 4:30 a.m., informing them of the shooting and saying that a person was in custody, 10TV News reported.
The message urged them to avoid the area.
