MyFOXDetroit.com – Authorities say a Detroit home being warmed by space heaters and a stove caught fire, killing one man an injuring another.
FOX 2 reports the fire started Monday night on the city’s west side in the lower level of a duplex. The Detroit Fire Department says an upstairs neighbor smelled smoke and discovered the fire.
The department says the neighbor found one man inside and firefighters found the other.
The identities of the two men weren’t immediately released. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
