REACTION On Warren Evans: Media's Most Wanted Man or The Man That Wanted The Media The Most?

Detroit Police Chief

Now that we have all had time to reflect on the most recent media frenzy with Warren Evans we have all probably formed our opinions about the matter. Personally I was thrown off completely. As you know Angelo Henderson and Warren Evans had the monthly ‘Chats With The Cheif’.

EXCLUSIVE: Detroit Police Chief Evans, The Media’s MOST WANTED Man With Angelo Henderson!

In one of his last chats, he seemed to be hopeful that the lower crime rates were a reflection of his work and that this sparked a new intolerance for crime. He also felt secure that his impact would continue to produce positive changes and asked for the community’s support and patience. Now fast forward to today, I now question his sincerity and think this only lets the community down in typical political fashion in the like of many Detroit top officials.

I now ask you Detroit, are you ready to be more proactive and ‘grassroots’ about tackling the issues, embracing the positives and grow in our neighborhoods? After all it ‘starts at home’, we can no longer depend on others or officials to make these changes for us. Don’t get me wrong voting the right people into office is a great step, but you never know what they will do with newly acquired responsibilities and control. In the words of our great President “Yes We Can, and Yes We Will”. Will you?
