INKSTER, Mich. – Police are investigating the shooting death of a 28-year-old man following a shootout between officers and suspects.
Inkster police responded to calls of shots fired inside a home on Rosewood early Friday. FOX 2′s Al Allen reports when they arrived, three men fled the scene in a van and opened fired on police. The officers returned fire and the men were arrested after crashing their vehicle. One of the suspects was hit in the hand and taken to an area hospital.
Allen reports upon entering the home, police found the body of a man identified as Jay Paul Baker.
