The Detroit Police Department is scheduled to hold a news conference Monday about improvements to DPD’s 911 response times.

Chief Warren Evans is expected to attend the 11 a.m. news briefing along with two 14-year-olds, whose home was broken into when they were home alone. According to a statement from police, officers responded so quickly to the 911 call that police are able to get there while the suspect was still inside
