What: “Joshua Walk II” to lift up the candidacy of Benny Napoleon for Mayor of Detroit.
The “Joshua Walk” is an opportunity for clergy and congregation members to demonstrate their support for “Benny Napoleon for Mayor” and for the future of the city of Detroit. The “Joshua Walk II” is conducted in silence.
Who: Leading clergy including Reverend Dr. Charles G. Adams, Reverend Wendell Anthony, Reverend Dr. Tellis Chapman, Bishop Charles Ellis II, Dr. James Perkins, Reverend Edwin Rowe, Reverend Dr. Deedee Coleman, Bishop P.A. Brooks and others including congregation members will walk seven times around the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center beginning at the Spirit of Detroit statute.
Why: Benny Napoleon is the candidate for Mayor that will make a difference for all of Detroit residents. We need his leadership to make a difference in Detroit.
Who Should Attend:
Clergy, congregation members, women and all engaged citizens.
