The 43rd Annual Legislative Conference - Day 3Rev. Dr. Jim Holley, pastor of the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church, Judge Damon Keith and the “Tribute to John Conyers Jr. Committee” will honor U.S. Congressman John Conyers Jr. at a special Gala for his five decades of dedication and service to improve the lives of all people. Local, regional and national politicians and entertainers, civil rights and labor, faith-based and community leaders, constituents and supporters will be in attendance to acknowledge the esteemed congressman.

Red Carpet participants include event Chairs Rev. Dr. Jim Holley and Judge Damon Keith; U.S. Congressman John Conyers Jr., keynote speaker, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rainbow Push Coalition; Michigan U.S. Representatives John Dingell, Carl Levin, Gary Peters; Michigan U.S. Senators Sander Levin and Deborah Stabenow; Detroit City Council Member JoAnn Watson.
Entertainment provided by the legendary Four Tops, world-renown jazz master Marcus and Joan Belgrave Jazz Ensemble, anointed Twinkie Clark; and 25 churches/temples comprise 150-member John Conyers Jr. Tribute Choir, and others.
