Rev. Dr. Wendell Anthony, President, Detroit Branch NAACP and Jimmy Settles, Vice President, UAW Ford and the 2013 Chairman for the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Freedom Walk will lead the press conference to announce details and special guests who will be participating in the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Freedom Walk  The UAW Solidarity House is significant because it is where Dr. King worked on his “I Have A Dream” speech.   The commemoration of the Freedom Walk will begin with Voices for Action sessions held on Friday, June 21, 2013 and conclude with the Freedom Walk and Rally in Hart Plaza on Saturday, June 22, 2013.
