Sunday, 03/24/13 – 12:30 a.m.

CIRCUMSTANCE:

In the 11400 block of Kercheval, the male victim, 38, was walking to his vehicle when he heard shots and felt pain.  He received a gunshot wound to the body and was listed in critical condition.

 

WANTED:

Unknown suspect:  Armed.

 Sunday, 03/24/13 – 2:57 a.m.

CIRCUMSTANCE:

In the 19100 block of Lahser, the suspect(s) forced entry into the local business and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

Sunday, 03/24/13 – 3:20 a.m.

CIRCUMSTANCE:

At Park and Temple, the suspect approached the male victim, 48, and asked for narcotics.  The suspect then fired shots, striking the victim in the body. He was listed in stable condition.

 

WANTED:

Suspect:  Black male, 5’-10”, 215 lbs, wearing a black mask, blue jeans, black hood, and armed.

Sunday, 03/24/13 – 7:50 a.m.

CIRCUMSTANCE:

In the 8400 block of Auburn, the suspect was involved in a verbal altercation with the victims (male, 30, and female, 28) and fired shots, striking them in their bodies.  They were listed in serious conditions.

 

WANTED:

Known suspect:  Black male, 31 and armed.

Sunday, 03/24/13 – 9:00 p.m.

CIRCUMSTANCE:

At Wisconsin and Chicago, the suspects pulled up in a vehicle (gold colored, 4 door) and blocked the male victim, 80, inside of his vehicle (silver, 2006, Saturn VUE Crossover).  Suspect # 1 then demanded the victim’s vehicle and personal property. The victim was not injured.   Suspect

Unknown suspects: # 1:  Black male, 20’s, wearing dark clothing and armed.

Unknown suspects:  # 2 and #3: Black males, 20’s, wearing dark clothing.

Monday, 03/25/13 – 12:05 a.m.

CIRCUMSTANCE:

At East Seven mile and Dequindre, the male victim, 37, was walking when a vehicle (beige, Toyota Camry) pulled along side of him. Suspect # 1 exited the vehicle and demanded his property.  Unknown items were taken and the victim was not injured.

 

WANTED:

Unknown suspect # 1:  White male, 5’-6”, 180 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes and armed.

 

Unknown suspect # 2:  Asian male, 5’-5”, 170 lbs, wearing a black jacket with a hood.

 

Unknown suspect # 3:  Black female, 5’-7”, 170 lbs, wearing all dark clothing.

* On Monday March 25th, 2013 around 3:50 p.m., Eastpointe police responded to a 13 year old girl who reported that she had been a victim of abduction. The young girl said she was grabbed near Papa John’s on Nine mile and Kelly. According to police, it was a black male who was about 25 years old.

Police said the man dragged the girl into a gray vehicle and locked the doors. While he was driving, she was able to escape. She then ran to a stranger’s home and called for help.

(WXYZ) – An Eastpointe teen managed to escape her abductor after she was grabbed near Papa John’s at 9 Mile and dragged into a gray vehicle, according to police.

Police say the 13-year-old was snatched by a man around 25 years old. The teen was able to escape while the abductor was driving;  she then ran to a stranger’s home to call for help, according to police.

On, Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:40 PM two officers assigned to Eastern District Special Operations were in the area of Alma and Queen when they observed the armed robbery of a citizen.

 

The officers announced their presence and ordered the suspect to drop his weapon.  The suspect turned around and pointed his weapon in the direction of the officers.  The officers fired shots striking the suspect in the body.  The male suspect, 23,  was listed in critical condition.  A weapon was recovered by the officers.

 

Neither the victim nor the officers were injured.

WDIV- A body was found early Tuesday morning in a vacant house fire on Detroit’s east side.

The scene is in the 500 block of Kenilworth Street, which is near I-75 and Holbrook.
