DETROIT (WXYZ) – Detroit Mayor Dave Bing will hold a news conference at 2:00 p.m. today to speak about Detroit’s cash crisis.
He is expected to discuss the next steps to offset a potential $30 million shortfall.
The move comes after Detroit City Council voted to table an issue involving the Miller Canfield law firm . The firm would advise the Mayor during the financial situation in Detroit.
It was part of the so-called “Milestone Agreement” which would ensure that the city would receive millions of dollars in bond money. To read the full story visit wxyz.com
