24-HOUR MAJOR CRIME SUMMARY REPORT

 November 15, 2012 – 6:01 a.m. to November 16, 2012 – 6:00 a.m.

NOTE: Each of the following summaries are allegations of incidents that have been reported and are under investigation.

Thursday, 11/15/12 –7:45 p.m.

CIRCUMSTANCES:

In the 14800 block of Mack, the suspect entered a local business, produced a weapon and demanded money.  The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

WANTED:

Suspect:  Black male, 28-32, 5’-8”, 150 lbs, medium complexion, brown eyes, wearing a black ski mask, a dark sweatshirt with a hood, and armed.

Thursday, 11/15/12 –10:35 p.m.

CIRCUMSTANCES:

At Stahelin & Orangelawn, the male victim, aged 32, received a gunshot wound during a verbal altercation with the suspect.  He was listed in critical condition.

WANTED:

Known suspect :  Black male, light complexion, 5’-7”, 170 lbs, wearing blue jeans, and armed.

Thursday, 11/15/12 –10:15 p.m.

CIRCUMSTANCES:

In the 19200 block of Gable, the female victim, aged 29, was exiting her vehicle when she was approached by the suspect.  He produced a weapon, and escaped in her vehicle (2007, white, 4-door, Chevy Impala).  The victim was not injured.

WANTED:

Suspect: Black male, 20’s, wearing all dark clothing and armed. No further description.

Thursday, 11/15/12 –11:05 p.m.

CIRCUMSTANCES:

At Harper and Athens, the male victim, was standing at the bus stop when he heard shots and felt pain.

WANTED:

Suspect: Unknown, armed.

Friday, 11/16/12 –1:30 p.m.

CIRCUMSTANCES:

At Winthrop & Fenkell, the male victim, aged 23, was approached by three suspects.  A suspect produced a weapon, and demanded money.  The victim was not injured.

WANTED:

Suspect #1: Black male, 6’-0”, 180 lbs, hairstyle in braids, beard, dark brown complexion, medium build, wearing a large plaid coat, and armed.

Suspect #2:  Black male, 20’s, 5’-3”, 140 lbs, short hair cut, dark brown complexion, small build, wearing dark colored sweatshirt with a hood, and armed.

Suspect #3:  Black male, 6’-0”, dark brown complexion, wearing a black knitted cap and a dark colored sweatshirt with a hood..
