Rainbow Push, City Clerk and Immigrant Advocates Stress Voter Access
(DETROIT) ‒ D. Alexander Bullock, Rainbow PUSH Detroit, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. and City Clerk Janice Winfrey will join a press conference to help ensure maximum voter access for Detroit’s registered voters. Winfrey will announce the opening of two new Department of Elections Offices and stress the importance of all voters having access to the franchise. Rev. Jackson and Rev. Bullock of Rainbow PUSH will join Alliance for Immigrants Rights and Reform (AIR) in a call to help ensure that all citizens and registered voters in all communities step forward and exercise their democratic rights. Rainbow PUSH and AIR are announcing a joint in-person-absentee campaign to assist voters who may not be able to vote on November 6th.
