(WJBK) – Police say the body of a man who died of an apparent gunshot wound was found along Eight Mile Road in Southfield early Monday morning.

According to a release, the victim is a black male between the ages of 25 and 35. He had no identifying documents on him when police discovered his body around 1:50 a.m. near the 16400 block of W. Eight Mile Road.
The victim was wearing blue jeans, a white and grey checkered belt, a grey University of North Carolina hoodie and black shoes.
No suspects are in custody.
