George Zimmerman Charged With Second Degree Murder

George Zimmerman charged with murder in the second degree in the case of Trayvon Martin’s death.

Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey announced charges against George Zimmerman in the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin Wednesday evening.

Information in the charging of Zimmerman was not immediately known which spawned an outburst across the nation. George Zimmerman maintains that he was acting in self-defense. The family of Trayvon believe the shooting was racially-motivated.

Two of Zimmerman’s attorneys withdrew from the case Tuesday.
