Detroit students perform Detroit version of Jay Z’s “Empire State of Mind”

DETROIT (WXYZ) – Students from the Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences choir perform their version of the Jay Z hit “Empire State of Mind.”

As part of a class assignment, students rewrote the lyrics and created a music video to showcase their Detroit pride.
