Wednesday January 19th the Detroit City Council honored the Detroit 300 and their movement with a Testimonial Resolution. City Council awards Testimonial Resolutions for outstanding achievements or for an event or organization being honored for their contribution(s) to the City of Detroit.
While the members of the community group where thankful they made it a point to let the City Council along with Detroitiers that the will be out patrolling until the serial rapist is captured.
The Detroit 300 have worked ruthlessly to take back our streets. Their newest focus is to capture the rapist on the loose as police continue search for “monster” Detroit serial rapist.
All of the attacks happened about five miles from downtown Detroit, and in most cases, the victims were waiting for a bus or walking to or from a bus stop. Chief Godbee also said the rapist forces them at gunpoint to secluded locations where they are robbed and sexually assaulted.
